Carissa originally trained as a Videographer in 2005 but decided to hang up the video camera in 2013 to concentrate on portrait photography and wedding photography.
"I love my job yet I planned to be a nurse. I love my family; I’m a proud big sister and cherish my memories of my brother. I'm a 'jeans and t-shirt' kinda girl that loves food and a drink or two! I've also been known to shed a few tears at a wedding."
Paul has always had a passion for photography and photographs portraits, commercial and weddings. He shot his first wedding at the age of 22 (he won’t put the year!) though Paul enjoyed Photography his interest didn’t develop professionally until 2003, when he started shooting traditional black & white film photography.
"It’s a great feeling to be booked as a wedding photographer and a privilege to be part of such a special day in a couple’s life. I get a kick out of the clients who say “I hate having my photos taken” but when they see the moment captured, they are surprised and chuffed with the final result."
We enjoy every aspect of being photographers and it’s always an honour to be picked as someone’s family photographer or to capture their wedding day. We both love wedding photography and capturing the emotions, tears and laughter throughout the day in a non-obtrusive way. Both Carissa and Paul are members of The Guild of Photographers of whom they have won numerous award winning wedding and portrait images.
