Mark and Ruth were married at Westonbirt School on a beautiful sunny day, 3rd June 2017.
We first met Mark and Ruth at a wedding fair and hit it off straight away, they were so excited when talking about their wedding plans and knew exactly want they wanted from their wedding photographer. A relaxed wedding day was what they wanted and exactly what they got! Photos were very important to them and they allowed time for group photos as well as plenty of time for Bride and Groom portraits - no rushing, plenty of time for photos and for spending time with their friends and family.
Westonbirt School was their venue of choice for the wedding day and wow!...it sure is a beautiful venue. Westonbirt House is stunning as is the grounds which surround it, everywhere is picture perfect!
Our day started at The Hare & Hounds just down the road from Westonbirt School for bride and groom preparations, Ruth was busy getting ready with her Mum and Bridesmaids while Mark was in the bar having a pint or two with his groomsmen. The atmosphere was buzzing with excitement and before we knew it Ruth was stepping into her dress and was ready to head to the wedding venue.
Ruth walked down the aisle with her dad by her side where Mark was waiting with a huge smile on his face. The ceremony was lovely and included a reading from the bride's sister and after the promises had been made as well as the giving and receiving of the rings the newlyweds sealed the deal with a kiss.
The weather was glorious and guests enjoyed a glass of pimms in the gardens while photographs were being taken. After all the requested group photos had been taken, Mark and Ruth went for a little walk around the gardens for their bride and groom portraits. They are such a lovely couple to photograph not only did the follow any advice given but they are very natural together.
The evening celebrations started with the cutting of the cake and then the new Mr & Mrs Powell took to the dancefloor for their first dance ♥
Congratulations to Mr & Mrs Powell we wish you all the happiness and love for the future!
