Sue & Glynn's NYE Wedding!

Carissa Jones - Thursday, January 26, 2017

We have known Sue and Glynn for a couple of years now, as we have photographed their lovely little family, so we were chuffed to bits when they asked us to photograph their wedding on New Years Eve 2016.

Clearwell Castle was Sue and Glynn's venue choice for their wedding day, and wow what a gorgeous venue Clearwell Castle is!! The stunning venue is located in the Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire, the castle is surrounded by beautiful grounds, which along with the castle create beautiful backdrops for the wedding photos.

We arrived at Clearwell Castle for Bride and Groom preparations. Sue was busy getting ready with her Mom, Sister, Niece and nephews and her gorgeous son Caeden, The room was busy and buzzing with excitement but a chilled Sue relaxed while being prepped for the day. Meanwhile just down the hall Glynn was getting ready with his groomsmen, once the boys were ready and after a tipple of whisky the groomsmen headed outside for photos.

Glynn greeted and chatted to guests as they arrived for the wedding, everyone soon were seated and awaiting the brides arrival. Sue walked down the aisle with her Dad by her side. With big smiles on their faces Sue and Glynn said their wedding vows to each other and sealed the deal with a kiss.

After a glass of fizz, we headed outside for a walk around the grounds for the Bride and Groom portraits. After photos we headed indoors to join the guests, everybody was chatting, laughing and having a great time. The speeches were brilliant with lots of tears and laughter and keeping to tradition Glynn, Father of the Bride and both Best Men all said a speech each, also Sue had a little surprise from her nephews, they made a lovely little film all about sue!

Sue and Glynn took to the dance floor for their first dance and soon everybody was up and dancing the night away! Congratulations Mr & Mrs Reed, we wish you all the love and happiness for the future.
