Fiona and Rikki were married 19th August 2016 at Little Somerford Church, reception followed at The Crown of Crucis nr Cirencester.
We only met Fiona and Rikki the day before their wedding, they booked us the week before, due to being let down by their original photographer. We met with them the night before at the Church rehearsal to have a good chat about their big day and view the church where the wedding was taking place. We were recommended to the Bride and Groom by The Crown of Crucis and Andre of Nitetraxx Entertainment Disco - so thanks guys!!
We arrived at Fiona's Dad's home for bridal preparations where we were greeted with a cup of tea, Fiona was getting ready with her two Bridesmaids/sisters and her beautiful camera loving daughter Jessica! Once Fiona was in her dress we headed to the church. The rain poured while Guests arrived but it didn't stop their smiles. Fiona walked down the aisle with a big beaming smile on her face and it stayed throughout the ceremony. Daughter Jessica had lots of fun playing with Mum's gorgeous Veil too. Once the register was signed the bride and groom was bombarded with confetti as they left the church.
Then it was onto the Crown of Crucis for the wedding reception, a lovely venue and a favourite of ours just outside Cirencester. Considering it had been raining on and off all day, the rain stopped and the sun shone throughout the photos - perfect timing! Speeches were very amusing with lots of laughter but they were also very heartfelt and emotional. Fiona and Rikki took to the dance floor for the traditional first dance and soon everybody was up on the dance floor.
It was such a lovely wedding day, and you could tell how much love their family and friends have for them. Congratulations Fiona and Rikki!! ♥
