On a very hot... hot hot hot summers day, June 18th 2017, Gary and Sam said "I Do" at The Hare & Hounds Tetbury.
The Groom and his groomsmen were all busy putting the finishing touches to the wedding breakfast room when Paul arrived for Groom preparations at the Hare & Hounds, after the macaroon tower was complete the boys headed to their room to get ready for the day ahead. Between straightening ties, adjusting cuff links and making sure hair was just right, the boys ate pizza and cake and the atmosphere was buzzing.
15 minutes away Carissa was busy photographing the bride, mum and bridesmaids getting ready in a charming Cotswold house. All was calm at bridal prep, the gorgeous Bride was enjoying sipping on a glass of fizz while Stacey from Updoo worked her magic on not only Sam's hair but the bridesmaids too. With the help of her Mum, Sam stepped into her wedding dress and with a final spray of perfume the Bride was now ready to go see the Groom!
Sam arrived with her parents at the Hare and Hounds and after a few photos it was time to walk down the aisle. The ceremony was held outside and with her Mom by her side, Sam walked down the flower petal aisle towards a smiley groom. The ceremony was lovely and included two readings, one from Sam's Mum and the other from her Sister. Once the rings had been exchanged and before the signing of the register, the newlyweds celebrated with a kiss...not just any kiss but Gary wrapped his arms around his new wife and dipped her for a classic movie style smooch!
After being showered with confetti, the Bride, Groom and Guests enjoyed a glass of champagne and some yummy ice cream in the gardens. With chatter and laughter filling the air and everybody enjoying the glorious sunshine, Sam and Gary went for a little walk around the Hare & Hounds for their Bride and Groom portraits.
Keeping to tradition the Father of the Bride, the Groom and his two Best Men all said a speech each, all brilliant, full of emotion and laughter. Sam and Gary were first to take to the dance floor for their first dance, they showed us some serious dance moves, soon after friends and family joined them on the dance floor for ceilidh dancing. After all that dancing fish and chips were served, then guests headed outside for the firework surprise.
Congratulations Mr & Mrs Bywater! We wish you all the happiness and love for the future ♥
Thank you Sam and Gary for your lovely words
"Paul and Carissa did a wonderful job with our wedding photos and the results are stunning. They worked so well on the day together and with us, and having two photographers for the price of one was invaluable. They worked so hard over a very long day, and will climb over fences, trek through fields and jump into patches of nettles to get that perfect shot for you! Paul clearly has a real eye for setting up a shot and Carissa is so lovely and great at putting a nervous bride at ease. There was the perfect mix of posed and natural shots from the day. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Capture Every Moment to any brides and grooms!"
