Luke and Steph were married at their family church in Taynton and their wedding reception took place at Clearwell Castle in the Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire.
Our day started when we arrived at Steph & Lukes home for Bride and Groom prep. Steph was getting ready with her bridesmaids and Mum while Luke was getting ready at his parents farm next door with his parents and bestmen. It was a lovely morning with everybody chatting about the day ahead, once the bride was in her dress it was time to head to the church.
Luke was busy greeting guests as they arrived and as soon as the bridesmaids arrived everybody was seated and awaiting the arrival of the bride. Steph arrived in style and with her dad by her side, she walked down the aisle towards a smiling groom. The ceremony was lovely and included 3 readings, one read by Luke's dad and the other two read by Steph's brothers. Luke and Steph said their vows to each other and with the giving and receiving of rings they were now Mr & Mrs Sherratt! The newlyweds left the church under a shower of confetti and bubbles and headed to Clearwell Castle to celebrate.
Guests enjoyed a glass of fizz, yummy canapes and were being entertained by a magician while Luke and Steph went for a walk around the gardens at Clearwell Castle for their Bride and Groom portraits.
The father of the bride, brides brother, the groom and best men all said a speech, all brilliant....but the best men were absolutely fantastic!!! They did make poor Luke blush. The eveing celebrations started with the bride and groom taking to the dance floor for their first dance, straight after everybody was up and dancing the night away.
Congratulations Mr & Mrs Sherratt! ♥
