Tuesday 10th October 2017 was a rather lovely day and that's because Rachael and Steve got married!
Our day started at The New Inn at Coln for bride and groom prep. Steve spent the morning getting ready with his groomsmen before heading to the bar for a cheeky pint, they soon headed off to Stone Barn to greet the arriving guests. Meanwhile Rachael spent the morning preparing for the day with her Mum and bridesmaids. It was a lovely morning with lots of chatter and excitement about the day ahead. Hair and make-up was beautifully styled and the bridesmaids were soon in their dresses and waiting for the brides big reveal! Once Racheal was ready it was time for the girls to make their way to Stone Barn.
Guests were seated and the string quartet played beautifully as Rachael made her way to an awaiting Steve. They both had the biggest smiles on their faces throughout the ceremony, vows were spoken and promises made and they sealed the deal with a kiss! Confetti was thrown and everybody headed outside for photos, while the string quartet softly played.
Before being seated for the wedding breakfast and speeches, Steve and Rachael cut the cake with all their friends and family watching on - they got to enjoy the cake as part of the very yummy wedding breakfast. There was a few speeches, Steve, Rachael, the best man and a few family members said a few words about the newlyweds. They talked about the journey Steve and Rachael have been on from the first time they met to the wedding day. each and every speech was different but all filled with lots of emotion and love for the new husband and wife.
Steve and Rachael were first up on the dance floor for their first dance, they gave their gusts a spectacular choreographed dance. While there was dancing there was also sparklers, the fire pits were lit and marshmallows were being toasted and as we said goodbye a conga line began!
Congratulations Steve and Rachael it sure was a lovely day ♥
