Saturday 1st June 2019 was the day Jordan and Abi tied the knot! The wedding ceremony took place at the Church of St Mary The Virgin, Bampton Oxfordshire and the wedding celebrations took place at Spittleborough Farm, Royal Wootton Bassett.
Abi prepared for the wedding with her bridesmaids, man of honour and Mom at her home in Bampton. When we arrived Abi had just sat down to have her make up beautifully applied, with lots of chatter and giggles the girls got ready for the day ahead. As soon as Abi was ready the champagne was popped and a few photos followed before leaving for the church. The Church was not too far away from Abi and Jordan’s home, so Abi hitched up her dress, bridesmaids supported her and the Man of honour carried the bouquet and it was time to walk round to the church.
Jordan was inside the church greeting guests as they arrived. Guests soon started to be seated as it was time for the brides arrival. With a huge smile upon her face, Abi with her proud Mum by her side walked down the aisle to greet Jordan. The happiness and love when they saw each other for the first time was clear to see. The ceremony started with a hymn and included readings from close friends. The ceremony was such a joy to witness, Jordan smiled throughout and Abi smiled and giggled throughout! They both said their wedding vows to each other and exchanged rings. The vicar blessed the marriage and as soon as the register was signed the newlyweds walked up the aisle as Mr & Mrs Ford! Once outside the church they celebrated with a kiss before being showered in Confetti. After a few photos it was time to head to Spittleborough Farm.
Guests enjoyed the afternoon sunshine with a glass of fizz on the lawn, chatter and laughter filled the air and the hog roast was served before it was time to be seated for the speeches. The Groom, Bestman and Man of Honour all said a speech, each full of laughter and emotion. After the speeches the bride and groom took to the dance floor for their first dance, they were soon joined by family and friends.
The evening sun was absolutely gorgeous, so we decided to go for a little walk around the farm for a few photos. Buttercup fields, hay bales, tree lined drive and the golden sun was perfect for photos.
The evening celebrations were great fun, Jordan is part of a band so it was only right the band played at the wedding and of course Jordan joined them on stage and to the guests surprise Abi got up a sang with them too! It was brilliant and nearly every guest was up and dancing.
It truly was such a lovely wedding day, We wish Jordan and Abi all the love and happiness for the future! ♥
