Simon and Becky were married at The Hare & Hounds Hotel, Saturday 27th July 2019.
We arrived at the hotel for bridal prep, Becky spent the morning preparing with her Mom and bridesmaids in the lovely gamekeepers cottage. It was a relaxed morning filled with excitement plus anticipation about the ceremony, was the ceremony going to be inside or out? The weather during bridal prep was not looking good so we had to play the waiting game! As soon as Becky’s hair and make up was beautifully styled, she soon was busy dressing her gorgeous Boys for the ceremony, with lots of giggles throughout and lots of happiness as soon as they received their presents, a beautiful framed “Thank You” from their parents for being pageboys but the boys of course were super excited when they saw the racing cars! Once the boys had left to join their Dad, It was time for Becky to step into her wedding dress and with help from her Mom the final touches of veil and jewellery were in place and Becky was ready.
After a change of location and the moving of chairs a few times it was decided the ceremony was going to be held outside, exactly what the Bride & Groom wanted and luckily the weather played ball throughout the rest of the day! Pageboys and bridesmaids led the way down the aisle, Becky followed with her Dad by her side, she had the biggest smile upon her face as she walked towards Simon. The ceremony was lovely and included the giving and receiving of rings and as soon as they were pronounced as husband and wife they sealed the deal with a quick smooch! The newlyweds signed the official paperwork and then walked together hand in hand through a confetti aisle, there was so much confetti which was fabulous!
The Bride, Groom and guests enjoyed the drinks reception in the gardens at the Hare & Hounds with lots of chatter before heading inside for the wedding breakfast. The room looked absolutely gorgeous decorated with bunting, fairy lights and flowers throughout. The speeches by the Father of the Bride, The Groom and Best man created lots of laughter and a few tears.
The evening celebrations started with the Bride and Groom cutting the cake with a little help from their son Harry, who cheekily ate a little cake while mum and dad sliced it! The Bride and Groom then took to the dance floor for their first dance as a married couple ♥ A huge congratulations to the new Mr & Mrs Jackson! It sure was a lovely day.
