Jon & Beth were married on a lovely late Septembers day at The Hare & Hounds Tetbury. The Hare & Hounds Tetbury is a beautiful country house with a beautiful garden. The house is charming with open fires and cosy chairs, the stylish ceremony room overlooks the gardens and the wedding breakfast takes place in the lovely Westonbirt room.
Bridal preparations took place at The Hare & Hounds, we arrived at the bridal suite to be greeted by Beth with a big hug before showing us her beautiful dress! Soon Beth was sat down and being beautifully styled by hair and Make-Up artist Alice Taper. The room was buzzing with laughter and chatter as the bride, her Mom and lovely bridesmaids prepared for the day ahead. Champagne soon started to flow and before we knew it was time for Beth to step into her dress with the help of her Mom. Once the veil was in position Beth was ready!
Jon and his groomsmen greeted guests as they arrived and showed them to the ceremony room and as soon as they were seated, it was time for the Bride to make her entrance. Beth with a huge smile upon her face was escorted by her Dad who walked her down the aisle. Friends and family watched on as Jon and Beth said their wedding vows and promises to each other. Jon’s brother read a lovely reading during the ceremony which was followed by the exchange of rings. You could see the love and happiness between them as they shared their first kiss as husband and wife. After the ceremony the newlyweds were showered with confetti and enjoyed a glass of bubbles with their friends and family.
The drinks reception took place in the gardens while group photos and portraits were taking place. The sun shone all afternoon which was fabulous considering the forecast looked dismal the day before!
The wedding breakfast took place in the Westonbirt Room. The room was beautiful dressed with bunting and fairy lights hanging from the ceiling, flowers and lanterns created a wonderful centerpiece on each and every table and wedding favors and bubbles for each and every guest. The table names featured a location of importance to the couple with a lovely little write up about each location. The cake in all is gorgeous glory took pride of place next to the top table, the cake was beautifully made by a friend of the newlyweds.
The speeches were all touching, emotional and full of laughter! The evening reception started with the cutting of the cake which was then followed by the first dance. Guests danced the night away and enjoyed celebrating with the new Mr & Mrs Hatherall!!
It was such a lovely wedding to be a part of and we wish Jon & Beth all the love and happiness for the future.
