Monday 27th May 2019, was the day Chris and Emma said “I Do” at Lapstone Barn.
Situated near the Cotswold town of Chipping Campden, Lapstone Barn is a beautiful Barn with countryside views all around with rolling fields creating a great backdrop for photos. The weather forecast didn’t look great with heavy downpours threatened but luckily the weather played ball for this lovely couple and the moody skies above made for a great photo backdrop.
Emma spent the morning preparing with her bridesmaids and Mom at Lapstone Barn, Emma was relaxed and enjoying the laughter and giggles while her hair and make up was being beautifully styled by her friend “Tracey Baden Make Up” The atmosphere was buzzing with excitement as the bridesmaids all got ready and did a fabulous job of helping the bride to be! Once Emma was ready it was time for her to see her dad for the first time that day, this was an emotional moment as Emma shed a few tears.
Meanwhile the groom had arrived with his groomsmen and grooms lady, which was his sister. A few photos were taken and soon it was time to greet the arriving guests. Guests were soon seated and awaiting the arrival of the bride.
The Bridesmaids made their way down the aisle first and soon after Emma made her entrance, with a huge smile upon her face and with her very proud dad by her side Emma walked down the aisle towards her future Husband. The ceremony was lovely and included the giving and receiving of rings and two readings from friends. Chris and Emma said their wedding vows to each other and sealed the deal with a kiss! The signing of the register took place and the newlyweds, with big smiles upon their faces walked up the aisle as the new Mr & Mrs Broomfield!
Wedding guests bombarded the newlyweds with confetti as they entered the drinks reception. The sounds of an acoustic guitar played while chatter and laughter filled the air as guests enjoyed a glass of fizz in the courtyard. Chris and Emma went for a little walk around the barn for their wedding portraits, we made use of the Cotswold scenery and barn as a backdrop.
Guests were seated for the wedding breakfast and of course the speeches. Speeches took place before the meal, meaning we could capture the laughter and tears before leaving the newlyweds to enjoy their evening celebrations. A huge Congratulations to Chris and Emma!
